I am a young, fourteen year old boy, Who happens to be Asian, and Scandinavian. I live in the wonderful town of Belmont, in a blue house on Richardson Road. I come from playing in the school parking lot, and watching the trees wave at me through the windows.
I, as a young boy, like many things. Like fresh and delicious food, and the smell of my grandmother's kitchen. I love the cool, exhilarating rush of swimming, The funky flow of jazz, and the soothing feeling of playing my instruments. I love just chatting with friends, and enjoying how we roar with laughter, like the thunderclouds on a rainy day.
I am a part of all these communities, Music Swimming Family and Friends Just another piece in the puzzle of the world. I may not be perfect, And I might be a little different than you. Or maybe a lot different. Or maybe just the same. But the point is, We all have our differences, And community is what brings us together. B3 is Chris Bauge
It's National Poetry Month! Why do we read (or NOT read) poems? Please respond on the discussion page: Also, watch the screencast on Billy Collins’s “Introduction to Poetry.”
Choose a poem by your assigned poet to analyze. Annotate a copy of it. Share one thing you admire about the poem. Example: I love how Tom Wayman's "Did I Miss Anything?" takes a common question posed by a student who has missed class and uses it to explore with sly philosophical wit how much and how little is going on in any given situation we experience.
